GENERATION OF NEW NARATIVES
Through daily interactions, women deeply understand the dynamics and events in their communities and due to their experiences, they see and hear differently from men. Women’s networks help decision-makers better understand community undercurrents; serve community needs more effectively; and earn trust across all stakeholders. Women are therefore, indispensable partners, not only in creating peace and lasting stability, but also in addressing the diverse conflicts as well as preventing them. The network will conduct participatory conversations where women and girls will be able to engage in conversations regarding their understanding of peace and human security, and enabling them to contribute solutions to the insecurity they experience, based on their indigenous knowledge and knowing. The knowledge acquired from the conversations, generated and processed, and shared with the faith based institutions to support them in restoring their doctrines.
